2025 Group Rides

Come join us on the four-day experience of a lifetime on the trails of Mackinac Island! During your time, you and your horse will be able to experience the magic of the island on fully guided trails throughout the entire island. Book your experience today!

Overview of Daily Events:

Day 1 Check in to the Mackinac Community Equestrian Center adn get your horse settled in. Then feel free to take a horse-drawn taxi downtown and enjoy a relaxing evening on the island or join us for an optional guided trail ride!

 

Day 2 Learn about the history of Mackinac Island and join us for a ride to Fort Holmes, Rifle Range, Fort Mackinac, and through the bluffs. Then join us for an afternoon ride and visit the island’s unique treasures such as Arch Rock, Skull Cave, and Sugar Loaf Rock.

 

Day 3 Join us for a morning trail ride through Soldier's Garden, Tranquil Bluff, and Juniper Trails.​

 

Evening of Day 3 You are invited to a banquet-style cookout at the barn on Sunday evening. Fun, food, friends, and horses!​

 

Day 4 Come to the stable and prepare for your departure to the mainland.

Group Ride Fees

 

Your Horse's Accommodations

Your stay will include 3 nights all-inclusive overnight lodging for your horse, 4 guided trail rides, use of a host facility bike, box-lunch for Day 2 & 3, and admission for 1 person to a banquet-style cookout at the barn for the evening of Day 3.

Guests will need to make their own hotel accommodations, transportation needs for their horse and everyone in their party including luggage.

Facility Amenities for you and your horse to enjoy:

  • Box stall cleaned daily by staff

  • Owner-provided grain fed twice daily 

  • Hay fed three times a day 

  • Access to fresh water 24/7

  • Use of wash rack

  • Use to saddle racks

  • Use of round pen and arena

  • Restrooms on property

  • Use of the Learning Center for gathering

  • Guided Tour of Facility and Horses Through History Museum by request

  • Trail Guide Map with over 70+ miles of trails

We pride our staff in monitoring your horse closely during the time they stay with us to give you the relaxing vacation you and your horse deserve! 

Traveling with Your Horse Documents

Owners MUST provide the following before they can load their horses onto the boat to Mackinac Island:

  • A negative Coggins that is current

  • Proof of Rabies vaccination (within 1 year of arrival)

  • Proof of EVH-1 vaccination (within 1 year but no sooner than 30 days before arrival)

  • Proof of Strangles vaccination ( within 1 year of arrival or note from Veterinarian stating your horse is free from contagious disease)

  • Proof of all vaccinations

  • 30 day health certificate for out-of-state horses which must be signed by a veterinarian stating your horse is free of contagious disease

  • Waiver and Release Form

  • Stable Rules

  • Stall Reservation Form

We highly recommend that these documents be scanned and emailed to us no later than 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to 60 days prior to the event start date results in a 50% refund. There are no refunds for a cancellation 60 days or less before the event start date.
